And Baby Makes Three

No, not us. Don't you put that on me!

I'm talking about my friend Adrienne, who is expecting her first baby with her hubby Ryan in December. They're having a boy and I got to go to her shower a few weeks ago. It was actually my first baby shower.


I worked on her present for weeks. I was super excited to give it to her ... but in true Meagan fashion, completely forgot to get wrapping paper. Luckily I found this in the back of my closet. Pretty perfect for a baby boy shower, no?


There were two kinds of cake (three if you count the diaper cake), games about baby food, and lots of oohing and aahing over Ade's super adorable baby bump. Adrienne is one of those girls who only seems to be pregnant in her tummy. She looks great, so ignore her when she complains about being as big as a house.

And now for my gift: I knitted a baby blanket in the colors they're using for the nursery - a jungle theme. Ade lived with me the year I took up knitting and I was thrilled to be able to do this for her. Her reaction was absolutely perfect, and so gratifying.

Congratulations again Adrienne and Ryan! Can't wait to meet Baby Drew!
