I would love for them to do things like this.
He liked it so he put some Pampers on it.

Mike and Jeannine get married!

The Fiance and I attended the gorgeous wedding for my college-friend Jeannine this weekend. It was a beautiful day in St Louis for a beautiful wedding! The ceremony was early (per Catholic tradition for the Bascillica Cathedral) but the church is GORGEOUS and so worth it!

The evening reception was at the Four Seasons hotel in downtown St Louis, over looking the Arch and the Mississippi. After what was quite possibly the best food we've ever been served at a wedding (um, it's the Four Seasons - do you expect any less?) we proceded to dance the night away to a mix of live music and DJed favorites.
Jeannine was radiant in a Demetrio's gown. I actually tried it on. She looks much, much better in it than I did. She looked so classic and elegant. I felt like I was sitting inside a magazine layout.I love weddings of old friends. People came from across the country for the occasion and it was so good to see everyone together for such a happy night. It had been years since I'd been in the same room with some of them!
The Fiance and I had a wonderful time. I survived my first Black Tie Optional wedding and was properly accessorized. I regretted that last glass of chardonnay on Sunday morning, but it was a fab time. Open bar gets the best of us all from time to time.
Thanks for inviting us, Jeannine! Have a wonderful honeymoon in Aruba!

It's Gameday!
*cue ESPN College Gameday music*
It's football season, the happiest time of year. The Fiance and I bonded early over our love of the game, particularly our Tigers (duh) and no football weekend is complete without proper snacks. I like making dip: easy, tasty, filling. Here are three that have gone over very well in our casa.
Happy game day! You know who we're cheering for, but I hope your team fares well too!

M-I-Z
Tomorrow marks the start of my favorite time of year ... college football season. My Tigers will be playing in the Arch Rival match against University of Illinois, which is always a great game. I've been feeling super nostalgic lately about the old college days, and I absolutely love this commercial put out by the university. Hey Jon Hamm!
Happy football weekend, lovelies!
