Thank you, Vaughn Walker.

Progress in California.  Prop 8, the voter-approved ban on same-sex marriage, has been over-turned by a federal judge.  It was deemed unconstitutional, and it is likely that the case will make it's way to the US Supreme Court.

One month from the day we will take our vows, The Fiance and I are beyond thrilled to celebrate our marriage with our friends and family, but it would not be a stretch to say that we sometimes take that privilege for granted.  We hope that someday very soon all loving couples will be able to legally join in marriage.  Hopefully someday soon every couple will be able to take this right for granted.

In the meantime, here is a fantastic editorial by Keith Oberman.
